Feral Divers Media represents the marine photography of Bill and Donna Goodwin. We make at least three trips a year to various Caribbean locations where we have created “homes-away-from-home.” Between us we have also traveled to (and photographed) many other places, including India, Norway, Brasil, Costa Rica, the Red Sea, Turkey, Afghanistan, Nepal, Hawaii, Mexico, California (Bill’s home state) and Louisiana (Donna’s home state). We are passionate about the sea and support many organizations devoted to protecting the ocean’s resources. We urge you to support them too. We love diving together as a couple. Couples understand each other’s body language and like many diving couples, we are great diving partners. And we’re each other’s favorite models! When doing photographic work underwater, we naturally fall into a cooperative mode where we help each other with lighting and positioning. Bill is a journalist (print and online), author (six non-fiction books and one ghost-written book), photographer, biology and chemistry teacher, researcher in biochemistry, businessman, diver, sailor and surfer. Donna has spent her professional life making people feel better, first as a kinesiologist and then as a physical therapist. She has been a passionate diver and undersea photographer for over five years. Bill and Donna own and operate a physical therapy clinic near Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Our photographs have appeared in numerous publications, including Alert Diver Magazine, Scuba Diving, Calypso Log (Cousteau Society), Sport Diver, and National Geographic (summer of 2010). |
